2011 PDL & W-LEAGUE Open Trials:

Only three open trial dates will be offiered for the PDL squad this year. Trial Fees are $50 and include two Highlander training shirts, two training sessions and one exhibition. Players expressing an interest in the Highlanders for the 2011 season, please contact Coach Ian Bridge at headcoach@victoriahighlandersfc.com for registration information. Out of town trialists are responsible for their expenses to attend these trials.

 W-League

April 11 & 12

These are the only dates for W-League trials. Trial Fee is $25 and includes two Highlander training shirts and two training sessions. Players expressing an interest in our Women Highlanders for the 2011 season, please contact Coach Dave Dew at daviddew@shaw.ca to registration information. Out of town trialists are responsable for their expenses to attend these trials.

Non-Canadian Players:

If you are an athlete without Canadian Citizenship, it is your responsibility to obtain all official documents and visas prior to arriving in Victoria including a work visa if you wish to be employed while here.  Victoria Highlanders FC does not assist foreign players who are coming to try-out with entry into Canada or assist in the temporary work visa application process.  Please visit the Immigration Canada website for details.  

For athletes who are enrolled as full-time students at a university in their country of residence, you may be eligible for a Student Holiday Work Visa.  Please visit http://www.swap.ca/ for more details.
