Highlanders 8 Honoured By United

Eight Victoria Highlanders players are alumnus of Victoria United who play in the Pacific Coast Soccer League.  In a half-time ceremony during its home opener on May 23, Victoria United honoured these players:

• Goalkeeper Dan Kilpatrick
• Defender Paul Vandenboomen .
• Defender Craig Robertson
• Forward Patrick Gawrys
• Midfielder Jordie Hughes
• Defender Rob Veenhof
• Midfielder Joey Loreth
• Forward Steve Scott

"These players have all had outstanding careers with Victoria United," stated Victoria United Director Bill Anderson.  "We are delighted to see them step up to a wonderful opportunity - the next level in their soccer careers! On behalf of all the Directors, Volunteers, players and fans of Victoria United, we wish all these amazing players continued success in their ongoing soccer career."
