2012-2013 GOALKEEPER TRAINING DETAILS
Goalkeeper training with Bob Stankov and his experienced staff will be offered on Sunday afternoon and evenings at Braefoot Park.
- Participants will register for the complete 24 training sessions. A prorated fee will only be considered after the first six session. The Fee $650.00 +HST. Payment can now be made online with credit card. Contact the club if alternate payment schedule (installments) is required.
SUNDAY SCHEDULE
Braefoot
- 4:00-5:30 p.m. - Group 1 = 11-14 years.
- 5:30-7:00 p.m. - Group 2 = 15-18 years.
- (Groups are based on age, however skill level is also considered as we want the keepers training in the appropriate environments for optimal development).
ANNUAL PLAN
Schedule:
- September 9, 16, 23, 30;
- October 14, 21, 28;
- November 4, 18, 25;
- (No session on November 11th as it is the CIS National Women's Championship Game at UVic)
- December 2, 9;
- January 13, 20, 27;
- February 3, 10, 17, 24;
- March 3, 10, 31;
- April 7, 14.
- All players are required to train in Highlanders' equipment. We keep a stock of kit however there may be instances where kit sizing is unavailable and there is a delay in ordering (embroidering/screening) the appropriate size.
- Players who already have Highlanders kit do not need to order new for 2012-2013 however they may order additional kit where needed.
- Kit fees will be determined and posted prior to online registration beginning.

DEVELOPMENT TEAM PROGRAM
- Our Development Team spring program was a massive success in 2012 and we will continue to offer this program in 2013. Again, this will be a competitive-developmental segment where players will train twice per week in age group Development Teams in order to play a number of exhibition games and attend summer tournaments (to be determined). *Summer Tournaments will include additional costs to the participants. Spring Development Team Program runs April through July.
